Crossroads

I'm in one of the crossroads in my life.

I'm always very careful in making decisions on what direction I want my life to take.
And at these moments of my life, I usually need a lot of time to think.

Not at all times have my decisions in life been wise, but I'd like to believe most were.

At times, I chose the unpopular path, solely for what i believe to be the right thing for me at that specific point in time, with a blind faith that God will take care of my future. Many close friends and most of my family members would not always agree with my decisions, but I persist nevertheless, because this afterall is my life - and I'm going to live it my way.

God has been quite kind to me though - He has always made better things & opportunities come out of what were supposed to be undesirable circumstances borne out of poor decisions.

What I thought out to be wise decisions, sometimes doesn't work out well in the end - But on those I considered to be poor decisions, most of the time worked out for the best. This made me believe, that indeed we may make our own plans, but in the end, it is God's Will that will be done.

As the saying goes: "You are never going to understand everything you go through in life, or why certain things work against you. You must simply learn to trust God anyway. You must learn to keep a good attitude knowing that God is in control.."
