Life is Useless..

"You spend your life working, laboring, and what do you have to show for it?" Eccl 1:3
"No one remembers what has happened in the past, and no one in days to come will remember what happens between now and then." Eccl 1:11

I say:
It is indeed unfortunate that we work hard in our lives, but in the end, these riches and worldly wealth we attain, will never be enough to satisfy our human desires for material possessions --- nor will it be enough to grant us our souls' salvation.

It is also true that what we do, no matter how good, are most likely to be forgotten by next generations. It is thus important, I realize, that we must have a noble goal in life - a worthy mission - so that at the end of our days, we may not have grown wealthy, we may not have become famous, and we may not have amounted to anything which the earthly world defines to be a success, but at least we find comfort and joy in the thought that, in our own way, we have made a positive impact in other people's lives.
